One of the first tests done for the robotic car constructed for the RAS Competition
I have been working another project for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) Student Activity Conference (SAC), which is being held at Rowan University in New Jersey and on the weekend of April 4th.
This new project is intended for the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Competition, in which every participating university has a team of students who prepare a small, robotic vehicle to compete in up to 3 different courses. For each course, points are scored based on how much faster the prepared robotic vehicle finishes the course than opposing robotic vehicles and whether the robotic vehicle completes the course by remote control (RC) or autonomous control (AC). The winners of the competitions are of course chosen based on which teams acquired the most points!
More information on the competition itself and my fellow team members -- including biographies and possibly links to their sites -- will be added to the site, shortly!
